A day in the work
A typical week involves arriving at job sites early to set up work areas and organize materials needed for the day's tasks. Helpers hold boards in place while carpenters cut or fasten them, fetch tools and supplies, and keep the workspace clean and safe. Work may include removing nails from salvaged wood, sweeping debris, loading and unloading trucks, and performing other support duties as carpenters direct.
