Aptly text messages

Aptly can text you about your job search: an interview tomorrow, a follow-up that's due, an application update, a new job that fits you. Texts are optional and only sent to members who turn them on.

How to sign up

1. Sign in to Aptly and go to Account → Text messages.
2. Enter your U.S. mobile number, choose what you want texts about, and tick the box agreeing to receive texts. The box says: "By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Aptly (Aptly Match LLC) at the number above about my job search: interview reminders, follow-ups that are due, application updates, new jobs that fit me and Career Plan reminders (I choose which). Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Up to 3 messages a day; frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use."
3. We text you once to confirm. Reply YES to start. Nothing else is sent until you do.

What we send

• Program: Aptly job-search alerts, from Aptly Match LLC.
• Types: interview reminders, follow-ups that are due, messages and application updates, new jobs that fit you, and Career Plan reminders. You choose which, and can change them on your Account page any time.
• How often: up to 3 messages a day, usually far fewer, and only between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. your time. Frequency varies.
• Cost: Aptly doesn't charge for texts. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
• Examples: "Aptly: Interview tomorrow - Registered Nurse at Kaiser, 10:00 AM. aptlymatch.com/#/saved Reply STOP to opt out." and "Aptly: 3 new jobs that fit you near Sacramento. aptlymatch.com/#/jobs Reply STOP to opt out."

How to stop or get help

• Reply STOP to any Aptly text to stop all texts at once. You'll get one message confirming it, then no more.
• Reply HELP for help, or email info@aptlymatch.com.
• You can also turn texts off on Account → Text messages. Reply START to turn them back on.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your privacy

We use your number only to send the texts you asked for. We never sell or share your mobile number, or your agreement to receive texts, with anyone for their marketing. Text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the text-message provider that delivers our texts. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
