A day in the work
Roofers measure and cut roofing materials, then fasten them to roof decks using nails, screws, or adhesive. They inspect existing roofs for damage, remove old materials when necessary, and apply new layers. Work varies by season and weather conditions. Some days involve repair jobs on single homes; other projects span multiple weeks on larger commercial buildings. Safety equipment like harnesses and hard hats is standard.
