A day in the work

A typical week involves hands-on work with animals, practicing commands and reinforcing desired behaviors through repetition and reward systems. Trainers may spend time grooming, exercising, and feeding animals in their care. They observe animal responses, adjust training techniques as needed, and document progress. Some trainers also meet with owners to discuss training goals and provide instruction on handling or care.
