How Aptly reads each state

Companies with 100 or more workers generally must file a WARN notice before a large layoff, and each state decides what it posts publicly. Aptly reads every state that publishes a list, every day, from the state’s own site, and adds layoffs reported in the news. Where a state leaves something out, it’s noted below: those gaps come from what the state publishes, not from Aptly.
